I saw Eragon last night. The reviews canned the movie but I found it to be fantastic! It’s along the same lines of Narnia so if you liked that movie (which I did) you won’t be dissapointed. It’s the classec movie where a young teen is picked to become the hero of the day against the ruthless authority figures ravaging the land. Not much in plot development since the hero is thrust into his power but the story fun all the same.
My view, if you liked Narnia see this movie. If you are looking for an epic like Lor of the Rings you may be dissapointed.

I had higher hopes for this film. I thought Narnia was better. The main character was a good actor, and John Malkovich is really evil, but I think the movie might have been better if it was animated.
