Why is it that I hate Comcast or any other cable provider. I hate how much it costs. I hate waiting for 5 hours for someone to show up at my door. I hate waiting 30 minutes fumbling through phone menus to talk to someone.

Why do I have to remind them that my cable is out and I wouldn’t like to pay for something I am not getting. I felt that if I didn’t bring it up it would have been business as usual.

I’d rather open my wallet and hold it out the window while driving down the tollway.

After calling them on the phone I feel like someone turned my power dial down from 10 to 5 to 3 and then stopping at 2. I want to be more fired up and angry but I just don’t have the energy.

This housing market sucks. You can’t sell your house to take advantage of the buyers market. I guess the first time homeowners are having a field day.

 I just want a new house!

Check out wikipedia regarding J.K. Rowling. She is worth 1 billion dollars! All this for writing young adult fiction.

Here are some ideas I had for spin off books.

1. Harry Pot-Head
2. Hog Warts - Harry’s dealings with the magical STD.
3. Harry Potter and the prisoner of Guantanimo Bay.

I know there are other funny ones but it’s too early in the morning.

Transformers was an action packed movie. I can’t remember the plot or the characters. All I know is I saw cars and trucks speeding towards each other in a galactic game of chicken at at the last moment changing into giant robots and kicking the crap out of each other.

Only one thing was missing from the movie. Dinobots.

Here are my ribs from a Cookoff I attended over the 4th of July break. Out of 20 chefs I came in 5th. My goal was to break the top 10 so I was pretty pleased. I think I am finally starting to figure out this bbq thing.

At my recent pig roast all this food was spread out for people to eat. The problem you ask? What do I do with all the left overs? Are they destined for coworkers bellies? slow death in the deep freeze? a quick blind toss in the garbage? a slow rot in the fridge?

I eat and eat and eat, but I can’t eat that much of the same stuff day after day. Hi-ho…I guess I will suffer the eats…I know I will miss them when they are gone.

Remote Thermometer

I just have BBQ on the mind lately. Here is some more of my gear. This is a remote thermometer. You can see the probe for the smoker chamber and the probe you inject in the hunk of meat. All this and then you are wireless to monitor your temps!

They may have fancier ones now. Check your local BBQ store or here!
